Welcome to Clay Ridge.

I founded Clay Ridge Capital to buy a manufacturing company in New England.

I have been fascinated by machines for as long as I can remember.  As a kid, I was curious about how all manner of mechanical devices worked – and would take apart anything I could get my hands on to find out.  It’s no surprise, then, that I started my career as a Mechanical Engineer at Pratt & Whitney, where I learned how difficult it is to build machines as complex as jet engines are, and how rewarding it is to build them right the first time.

Naturally, after business school, I put my MBA to work in Industry. I joined Boeing, first as Chief of Staff for an Executive Team, then as Program Manager for a few Autonomous Aircraft we were developing and manufacturing for the United States Department of Defense.  When I saw how our aircraft changed the game for the American warfighter, I knew I had to find a way to scale up and have that kind of impact over and over again.

So I went back to where it all started – the shop floor.  Clay Ridge leverages everything I have learned from the factory floor to the boardroom and everywhere in between.  Our team of seasoned investors and advisors brings deep expertise and contacts which enable our approach of buying a good company with strong customer relationships.

If you are thinking about selling a business, know someone who is, or have capital to invest in great deals, give me a call.  Always happy to chat.

Thanks for stopping by.
